It was established by Rumkowski in September 1940, with the seat at Gnieźnieńska Street 20 and 22. Sentences were passed according to the rules of civil and criminal code drafted by ghetto lawyers. In March 1941, the summary court was appointed, located at Franciszkańska Street 27, which passed sentences without the defense and the prosecutor, without a right to appeal.
