Established in August 1940, the Bank operated in the building at Ciesielska 7 Street. It was in charge of buying from residents German marks, foreign currencies, jewelry, and furs, fur coats, clothing or art, at fixed prices, contributing to the impoverishment of the inhabitants of the ghetto.
